The muslims seem to be very proud of the fact that they perform ablution before they pray to allah. Often several times a day. I was speaking with a muslim the other day, and he explained to me how filthy the kafirs are. He was appalled by the fact that the kafir use toilet paper after they have relieved themselves.
Keeping your hygiene is important. But it doesn’t make you holy before God, nor takes away one’s sin. Neither does food or any other outward appearance, since sin originates, and is a matter of the heart.
Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. Matt 15:17-18
But since we mention hygiene, lets look at the hygiene of Muhammad.
Muhammad wiped himself with stones
Whenever Muhammad was relieving himself, he used three stones.
Narrated Abu Huraira: I followed the Prophet while he was going out to answer the call of nature. He used not to look this way or that. So, when I approached near him he said to me, “Fetch for me some stones for ‘ cleaning the privates parts (or said something similar), and do not bring a bone or a piece of dung.” So I brought the stones in the corner of my garment and placed them by his side and I then went away from him. When he finished (from answering the call of nature) he used, them. (Sahih Bukhari 1:4:157)
Muhammad had lice
She was picking lice from the head of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) while the wife of Uthman ibn Affan and the immigrant women were with him. They complained about their houses that they had been narrowed down to them and they were evicted from them. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) ordered that the houses of the Immigrants should be given to their wives. Thereafter Abdullah ibn Mas’ud died, and his wife inherited his house in Medina.
(Sunan Abu Dawud Book 19, Number 3074)
Muhammad cleaned himself with water polluted with dead dogs, woman menstruation and excrements
Narrated Abu Sa’id al-Khudri:
I heard that the people asked the Prophet of Allah (peace_be_upon_him): Water is brought for you from the well of Buda’ah. It is a well in which dead dogs, menstrual clothes and excrement of people are thrown. The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) replied: Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything.
(Sunaan Abu Dawud, Book 1, Number 0067)
Muhammad licked his hands before he ate
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: The Prophet said, ‘When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else.” (Sahih Bukhari 7:65:366)
Muhammad went praying with stains of sperm on him
Narrated Sulaiman bin Yasar:
I asked ‘Aisha about the clothes soiled with semen. She replied, “I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah’s Apostle and he would go for the prayer while water spots were still visible.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 231; see also Number 232)
I used to wash the semen off the clothes of the Prophet and even then I used to notice one or more spots on them. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 233)
