Muslim learned sharia from monkeys

Folks, today we get our wisdom from the planet of the apes.

Narrated ‘Amr bin Maimun: During the pre-lslamic period of ignorance I saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along with them.
Sahih Bukhari 5:58:188

…During the pre-islamic period of ignorance…

The fact that this event took place during ‘a pre-islamic period of ignorance’, makes things hilarious. Think about it. The punishment for adultery in sharia law is stoning. The monkeys back then have the exact same behavior as muslims have today!

This means that the sharia law is in total harmony with the ignorant behaviors of monkeys! Reading this hadith, you have to question if the period of ignorance ever left islam…

…They were all stoning it…

They were all stoning the she-monkey, because the she-monkey had supposedly committed illegal sexual intercourse. This might come as a shock to some people, but monkeys don’t marry. They don’t commit to monogamous relationships. They don’t even follow a law or a code of morals.

…I too, stoned it along with them…

Amr bin Maimun observed the behavior of the monkeys, and then he decided to become a participant in the act of stoning the she-ape. One must ask how he came to the conclusion that he was doing the right thing?

Did he consult with the apes by grunts before he made up his mind? Did he ask witnesses to the event to come forward with their testimonies? Or did it just ‘seem to be the right thing to do’ at the moment? Maybe he picked up some long lost morals from the apes? Or did he simply go ape-shit and join in like a thug?
